Topolog separates the subscription from the AI usage cost. The subscription unlocks the product. Credits buy AI calls.
What costs credits?
Only AI calls. Specifically:

What's free?
Everything else. Canvas editing, scheduler, day/week/month views, marking done, decomposing manually, exporting JSON: all free. AI is the only thing that costs credits.
Do credits refill every month?
No. The 1,000 credits per seat are a one-time grant when the subscription starts. They don’t refill on the monthly billing cycle and they don’t refill on annual renewal. Top-up packs are the only way to add more; they pool with the rest and likewise never expire.
Credit roll-over
Unused credits accumulate forever. There’s no use-it-or-lose-it deadline. A heavy planner one month, light executor the next, you keep the difference.
What happens if I run out mid-task?
You'll see a small inline nudge: "Not enough credits for this action · Top up". Non-AI features keep working. No hard blocks.
